This week, Netflix is serving up a rich and satisfying menu of new shows, offering a feast for viewers with a wide range of tastes. From a hearty historical drama to a spicy psychological thriller and a sweet romantic reality show, there’s a dish for every palate.
The main course is House of Guinness, a substantial eight-part period drama from the creators of Peaky Blinders. Set in the 1860s, this series is a complex and flavorful tale of a family’s battle for control of the Guinness brewing empire.
For those who prefer something with a bit of a kick, Angela is the perfect choice. This six-part Spanish mystery is a spicy psychological thriller about a woman’s escape from an abusive marriage, with plenty of twists to keep things interesting.
The menu also includes two returning favorites. The third season of the Japanese sci-fi series Alice in Borderland offers a high-energy dish of action and adventure. And the second season of Interview With The Vampire (arriving September 30) serves up a dark and decadent gothic fantasy.
For dessert, the ninth season of Love is Blind (premiering October 1) is a sweet and addictive treat. The reality dating show’s unique recipe for romance is back with a new cast of 32 singles from Detroit. This week, viewers are encouraged to sample everything on the menu.
