The Indian Embassy in Qatar and the Indian Cultural Centre (ICC) celebrated Constitution Day on November 26, 2025, with a community gathering at ICC Ashoka Hall. The event highlighted the values of justice, liberty, equality, and fraternity that define the Indian Constitution and emphasized the importance of preserving these principles among the Indian diaspora.
Speakers underscored the Constitution’s role in shaping India’s democratic and cultural identity. Embassy representative Dr. Vaibhav A. Tandale reaffirmed the document’s continued relevance and led the audience in a collective recitation of the Preamble, creating a strong sense of unity and patriotic pride.
The celebration featured cultural performances, patriotic music, and a documentary on Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, honoring his contribution as the principal architect of the Constitution. ICC leaders praised the Indian community in Qatar for promoting constitutional values through civic participation and cultural engagement.
