Cliff Booth Film: Title Announced, Release Date Set for Box Office

Brad Pitt is set to reprise his role as Cliff Booth in a new Netflix spin-off titled The Further Mis-Adventures of Cliff Booth. Directed by David Fincher, this film revives Pitt’s character from Quentin Tarantino’s 2019 hit, Once Upon a Time in Hollywood. The narrative centers on Booth, a Hollywood stuntman with an enigmatic background, who must adapt to the film industry’s evolving landscape.

While Quentin Tarantino penned the screenplay for this project, he opted not to take on the directorial role. Tarantino has previously expressed a desire to avoid concluding his directing career with a sequel, despite his enthusiasm for continuing Booth’s story. Set in 1977, eight years post the original film’s events, this new installment delves into Booth’s experiences in a transformed Hollywood environment.

The film boasts a star-studded cast alongside Pitt, including Elizabeth Debicki, Scott Caan, Carla Gugino, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Peter Weller, Matt Groove, JB Tadena, Corey Fogelmanis, and Karren Karagulian. The original Once Upon a Time in Hollywood featured Pitt with Leonardo DiCaprio and Margot Robbie, capturing Los Angeles during the late 1960s.

David Fincher, known for his work on films such as Fight Club, Zodiac, The Social Network, and Gone Girl, will direct the spin-off, bringing his distinct style to the project. Fincher has also gained acclaim for directing Netflix series like House of Cards and Mindhunter. His involvement promises to offer a fresh creative direction for this continuation of Booth’s tale.

Scheduled for a two-week IMAX release starting November 25, the movie will later be available for streaming on Netflix beginning December 23. This reunion of Brad Pitt with Tarantino’s iconic character under Fincher’s direction signals an exciting fusion of creative talents, as audiences eagerly await Booth’s further adventures.
