PM Modi Celebrates 25 Years in Public Service, Envisions Developed India by 2047

Prime Minister Narendra Modi celebrated a milestone on Wednesday, marking 25 years of continuous public service with an address at the ‘Viksit Bharat Sankalp Sabha’ in New Delhi. Reflecting on his political journey, which began on October 7, 2001, when he became the Chief Minister of Gujarat, Modi expressed gratitude to the citizens and party workers who have supported him along the way. He credited their trust as a significant source of strength, acknowledging that he never anticipated reaching such a milestone.

In his address, Modi emphasized the importance of both supporters and critics in shaping his journey. He noted that while supporters provided encouragement, critics taught him valuable life lessons, including resilience and introspection. “Those who brought me down taught me how to rise again,” he remarked, highlighting the insights he gained from overcoming challenges.

A significant portion of Modi’s address focused on his vision for India’s future. He reiterated his call for collective efforts to transform India into a developed nation by 2047. Modi stressed the importance of self-reliance and outlined his ambition for India to become one of the world’s three largest economies, emphasizing that these goals are achievable through the combined efforts of its citizens.

Expressing his gratitude, Modi thanked the citizens for their trust and acknowledged the contributions of BJP workers and others who have supported his public service journey. He described the people as his greatest strength, stating, “For me, people are God.” He also underscored the importance of serving humanity and working together to propel the country forward.

Modi shared his ongoing desire to learn, recalling his school days in Vadnagar and emphasizing that his eagerness to acquire new knowledge remains a crucial part of his life. “Even today, I consider myself a student,” he said, reflecting on his continuous learning throughout his career in public service.

The Prime Minister also highlighted India’s advancing capabilities in aviation by mentioning the bravery of Indian pilot Smit Machchhar during a recent incident with a flydubai flight. Modi expressed optimism that the world would soon witness aircraft manufactured in India.

Concluding his address, Modi called for sustained collective efforts to achieve the nation’s development goals, aiming to build a stronger and more self-reliant India by 2047.
